Booking Horley during Covid-19
After many months of closure we are now ready to reopen having done our Covid-19 risk assessment and plans to manage the site during these changed times.
We are now approved to open to Scouting and Third party groups.
While the sites surrounding look the same, how the site is booked and what is required of groups using the site has changed.
To book the site the group must do the following:
Complete the booking form
Provide copy of the Covid 19 approved risk assessment for the visit, to be reviewed along side ours to enable a safe use of the site while allowing us to meet the strict requirements that are now in place
Training for cleaning of the facilities used (on site instruction)
Due to the nature of the virus and how it spreads, the groups using the site will have to clean any facilities used.
Only at the point of receiving a booking confirmation can you come to site, this new process can take up to three weeks to agree and confirm use of the site. Further information will be detailed in the booking confirmation for your visit.
There will be a cost to using the site during this unprecedented time for all users.
During evening use we will only be able to have three sections on site and each of these will be given their own colour coded designated areas, toilet and outside sink.
Please note that pickup and drop off will also be a designated area on the field, the carpark can not be used at this time due to issues with social distancing. Parking off site and walking in is also not permitted due to the amount of time spent on site and track & trace.
Please note that until we enter the green phase we will not be offering site led activities (no archery, shooting or climbing) and some other areas will be restricted.
