We are organizing a “Night and Incident Challenge Hike Competition” on the evening of Saturday 14th March and sleep over at Horley Scout Campsite.
The event will take a maximum of 15 teams.
We will be meeting at Horley Campsite on Saturday afternoon, they will pitch their tents and have an evening meal. Upon completing a “kit check” they will be bused out to the start of the hike. The “Night and Incident Challenge Hike Competition” will begin, walking back to Horley campsite navigating and completing many different and varied challenges upon their way,
When they reach the site, they will be feed and served hot cocoa. They will then sleep over in their tents, and we will serve breakfast in the morning, followed by prize giving and decamp.
We have provided a number of letters & In touch from, plus Team sheets to be completed and returned to Jo Scott by Friday 21th February, We as organizers also need to have the details of your individual troop In touch contact, These contacts must be made aware that it may be one of the hike organizers contacting them over the evening and that not of yourselves due to the nature of our activity
Cost for entry £14.00 per participant
Event Fees will be paid directly to the District via Bank Transfer

Each team will require two adults who are Scouting DBS cleared to support the event and if you have anyone else who would help with this event it would be greatly appreciated, please let us know.
If you have any requests of which jobs you would prefer please let us know, it will be first come first served in allocating before we ask you to do a task for us over the weekend.
