Terms of Booking

Please complete the booking form in full, fees charged will be on the numbers attending camp. Approximate numbers help us with managing the site and amenities.
Sole booking of the site is for the use of Dean Lodge, Taurus Lodge, all woods and camping areas, it does not include activity areas or activities. Maximum number of people on site is 1200, including staff.
Any changes in the responsible adult (Leader in charge) please notify before attending the site.
Whilst we will always endeavour to allocate groups to the campsite that has been requested, if conditions so indicate, we reserve the right to move sites without prior consent.
Charges/fees are subject to change. It is the responsibility of the group to check up to date prices with the bookings team or on the website.
Responsibility for the supervision and welfare of group's remains with the responsible adult (Leader in charge) notified on the booking form.
The Leader in charge or designated adult is responsible for the first aid for your group; we do not supply first aid kits in any buildings or on any campsites.
We reserve the right to charge groups who damage equipment or building, or who fail to leave their building or site in a reasonable condition. Groups will be charged an extra £50 cleaning fee if the building is left in an unsatisfactory condition. A building or campsite inspection can be arranged via the site team before leaving site.
Buildings must be left in a clean state for the next group to occupy, including removal of all food and cleaning products.
All building charges are inclusive of Gas and Electricity.
Activities brought to site are the responsibility of the booking group and this includes any power requirements to run the activity.
Groups hiring the indoor accommodation (Dean Lodge only) are asked to note that no bedding is available.
Taurus Lodge, please note this does not have indoor accommodation.
Dogs (and other pets) are not allowed on the campsite unless specific authority has been obtained from the site team.
No firearms are permitted on site without permission from the site staff and then these will be restricted to .177 air rifles.
Permission for all fireworks must be gained in advance from the site staff before arrival.
We reserve the rights to charge for activities booked in advance if the group fails to turn up.
Activities are run by volunteers and times maybe changed if needed.
Activities are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled/ changed accordingly.
The Manager or designated representative reserves the right to refuse access and removal of person or persons from the site.
The camp staff can not be held responsible for loss or damages while on site.
All cheques must be made out to North Oxfordshire District Scout Council (N.O.D.S.C).
