District St Georges Day Event

27th April 2014

Given that Mother Nature is likely to serve up less than perfect weather tomorrow, I will be more than happy for everyone to 'be prepared' and wear a full set of waterproofs. . .including wellies!

On arrival, head towards where everyone is mustering for the parade (it will be obvious as you'll see lots of group flags) and look out for our Parade Marshall, Mr Ian Bushrod (tall chap with beard!). He will let you know how we are forming the parade.
At 2pm the parade will set off down the runway towards the 'pavilion' tent for the formal inspection and promise renewal.
The parade will then dismiss and everyone including parents can then head towards the activities. Some are in tents, some will be outdoors.
We hope to finish at 4pm, but will be flexible if the youngsters are engrossed in the activities or the weather makes life difficult!

If any of you are bringing tents to run activities in, bring cars to act as anchors. Otherwise you'll be picking up your tents somewhere in Steeple Aston!
If any of you are prepared to offer your car as an anchor for the district tents, that would be much appreciated!!

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow,
