Beavers
Our Beaver Scout Colony is currently able to accommodate up to 12 children aged between 6 and 8 years old. During these early years our emphasis is on leaning through having fun with friends, playing games, and experiencing a wide range of activities.
During their time with 3rd Bicester, Beavers will attend their first overnight camp - hopefully the start of many - and get a taste for adventure at the nearby Horley and Youlbury Scout Camps.
Throughout the year we follow a balanced program of activities, designed to enable Beavers who complete a full two years with us to earn their Chief Scouts Bronze Award before moving up to our Cub Pack. All of the activities we organise are carefully planned and linked to key Scouting skills, Beavers' achievements are regularly marked with the award of activity badges.
Meetings are held every Tuesday evening during term time from 17:40 to 18:40 at the Bicester Children's Centre, Hendon Place, Glory Farm.
