About Us

Kscouts Your local group, 1st Kirtlington Scouts are already helping 63 local children through their involvement in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

The Scout Group is made up of three Section Leaders.

Beavers with Maxine Evans Meets on Fridays. Times are 6pm til 7pm.

Cubs with Jill McGarrity Meets on Tuesdays. Times are 6.15pm til 7.45pm.

Scouts with Colin Evans Meets on Fridays. Times are 7pm til 9pm.

All activities take place in our very own Scout Hut.

There is also an Executive Committee, made up of local volunteers from within and outside the Group, who ensure the financial stability and viability of the Group. The Committee also has a formally elected executive Chair, Treasurer and Secretary and the annual AGM is normally held in the month of April each year. These posts have already been elected for the next 12 months at the 2011 April AGM.

We meet on a regular basis, and dates can be found in the diary section, under the EVENTS tab. If you wish to join the committee as a non-executive member, please email us by clicking on the CONTACT US tab.

A rota of helpers is also kept by the Committee. You don't have to be on the Committee to do this and there are no meetings to attend. If you find you have 6 hours to spare a year, yes that's all, then please read on. All we ask is that you commit to turning up at one of our fund raiser events to help run a stall. If you can help us, then please could you email us your details by clicking on the CONTACT US tab.
